ROADRUNNER CLUB ANNUAL POW-WOW and FIELD TRIPS

Roadrunner Gem and Mineral Club Annual Pow-Wow and Field Trips

The Roadrunners Gem & Mineral Club's Quartzsite Gem and Mineral Show, or Pow Wow, is an annual event held every January in the days prior to the big Tucson show.  With more than 550 vendors and snowbirds flocking to the area, it is one of the largest gem and mineral shows in the US.  The event's sponsor, Quartzsite Improvement Association (QIA), provides the venue, which is adjacent to the Club's property. Visitors may obtain a temporary membership in order to attend any of the field trips scheduled daily during the four-day Pow-Wow, and the cost is a bargain at $2.00 per trip.  Two field trips are planned for each day.
